Literacy

Developing literacy lies at the heart of all that we do in lessons throughout the school. From the earliest beginnings our pupils are encouraged into a love of reading and an enjoyment of writing prose and poetry in a wide variety of styles and genres for different audiences. They learn how to express themselves orally with confidence through drama, presentations, reading aloud and recitations in the context of classroom, assemblies, concerts and other school events.
