Science

Science is pursued with enormous enthusiasm and enjoyment by pupils in the Primary school as they grow in their understanding of fundamental scientific concepts and develop their skills of scientific enquiry. Well equipped laboratories form the setting for the delivery of high quality teaching in Biology, Chemistry and Physics in our Senior school. Pupils learn to enjoy investigating and experiencing scientific concepts first-hand through experimentation, observation, recording and discussion. All pupils take Science at GCSE level and our more able ones take the three separate sciences at this stage. This forms an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue these subjects at ‘A’ level and on to university.
