BBC Early Years
Foundation Stage - thematic interactive games for the
early years.
ICT Games
- fun, computer-based and printable numeracy games.
Storynory -
stories to download to your iPod or MP3 player. Storynory has
published a new audio story every week since November 2005.
Peep and the Big Wide
World - designed to help introduce basic science
concepts to very young children. Includes a collection of
interactive games and a huge collection of activities that
parents can do with their children.
Big Eyed Owl - early
years expreience. Sharing information and resources for young

Key Stage 1
BBC Wales
Learning - supporting areas of the
Welsh national curriculum at Primary level. Features Astro
Antics where you will find stories, songs and games for
young Welsh learners aged 5-7.
The Magic Key
- reading and grammar activities following the characters children
become familiar with in school.
Starfall - a free
website to teach children to read with phonics. For preschool,
kindergarten, and first grade. Exciting phonics games and online
interactive books.
Key Stage 2
BBC Bitesize
- a series of quickfire interactive games suited to different
age groups. KS1 (Maths and Literacy), KS2+3 (English, Maths and
Science).
Gridclub - educational
activities, games and videos aimed at 5 to 12 year olds.
Secret Builders - a
virtual world for children aged 5 to 14 years old powered by a web
2.0 community of children, parents, educators, writers, artists and
gamers.
All Primary
The School Run - a
parenting website for parents who care about their children's
education, health and well-being. Along with information
on Key Stage 1 to 3, you will also find a
large library of parenting advice and free worksheets as
well as other parenting resources to download. Plus win prizes
in competitions and share your expertise
in the Answers forum.
BBC Schools - a
wealth of information relating to Primary Art, Citizenship,
Geography, History, Languages, Literacy together with
more than 7,500 video clips from BBC programmes on Learning
Zone Class Clips.

- interactive resources suitable for early
years, KS1 and KS2.
Learning Planet -
computer-based educational games to pass the time.
Topic Box - a free
directory of over 2,000 educational websites, categorised into
subjects. A great resource for parents looking for ways
to help their child at home.

- web-based reading support from publishers Usborne.

Times Spelling
Bee - practice your spelling skills against the
clock!

Curriculum

Maths Games from
TutPup - register to play Maths games against the
clock or against opponents from around the world.
Sumdog - featuring a
collection of maths games for a variety of topics where students
are required to quickly type or click in the answers to questions
displayed on screen. At the moment there are seven different game
types apparently covering 100 different numeracy topics at ten
different levels. There are single player and multiplayer modes and
there is no requirement to register to play.
