Monkton School News 11+ Scholarship Exams These took place last Friday for our own pupils in Year 6 and on Saturday morning 7th February for a large group of pupils from various local schools around Cardiff. Clearly, despite these troubled economic times, there continues to be a high level of interest in the quality of education that we offer as a school and in the standards that we achieve. The papers are now being marked and results will be announced soon after the half term break. |

Visit to the Imperial War Museum,
London Last Tuesday saw the pupils from the Year 10 & 11 history classes visiting the Imperial War Museum in London. The visit was planned to coincide with Holocaust Day and the pupils’ studies were brought very much alive as they met a survivor of the Holocaust, as well as someone who had managed to escape the horrors of the concentration camps. |
