2011 Eisteddfod Celebrations

The Senior School Eisteddfod took place on 7th March. The whole school was assembled in the main hall for the afternoon, where a healthily competitive atmosphere developed as members of Williams, Skerry, Shewbrooks and Dark battled it out for individual and overall house honours. With points on offer for participation as well as placings, house mathematicians adopted every trick in the book to play the system to their advantage!

This year the focus of the Eisteddfod was on the creative and performing arts and the event was launched by an outstanding display of art in the school entrance hall and library in the days leading up to March 7th.

The overall House Trophy was won by Skerry and the afternoon culminated in the Chairing of the 2011 Bard, Megha H of Year 9 for her series of Haikus.
