Chess Tournament Double Whammy

Congratulations go to Souheil Z for his recent victory at the Cardiff and Vale chess tournament which was held on February 13th - an incredible feat considering 51 children took part. Souheil came first in his category of under 10’s.

Souheil received his trophy from Cardiff and The Vale Chess Association in school and has won several new chess sets for our chess club courtesy of the Rotay Club. Congratulations also go to Lewis M who came second in the same category.

Higher up the school, Alex Wills of year 11 also came up trumps in the U16's age group.
