GCSE Results 2010

42% A* or A FOR GCSE PUPILS

We are delighted to announce that GCSE pupils have achieved an excellent set of results which reveal a year on year improvement. Up 10% on last year’s figure, an amazing 42% of this year’s GCSE grades were A* or A. Furthermore, 62% of results were graded A* - B, with 84% of grades falling between grades A* and C.

This year, 4 students gained 40 A* grades between them to match the best in the country. These were E Moskvina who achieved 11 A*’s and 2 A’s, M Binesmael with 10 A*’s, 2 A’s and 1 B, S Otung with 10 A*’s, and D Harris with 9 A*’s and 2 A’s. Other students with exceptional results include R Olley (8 A*’s, 3 A’s), J-Y Fung (6 A*’s, 4 A’s, 3 B’s), S Ebdon (5A*’s, 5A’s), E Reynish 4 A*’s, 4 A’s, 2 B’s) and T Etchells (3 A*’s, 6 A’s, 1 C).

We are tremendously proud of our Year 11 students who have all worked extremely hard to fulfil their individual potential.
