• The School is also a non-profit-making charitable trust dedicated to the sole aim of providing an education of excellence.
• Kings Monkton School was identified as the highest climbing school in the FT top 500, based on A level results for 2005, 2006 and 2007.

The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) carried out a full inspection of our school in November 2003. The inspection report concluded that:

• Pupils reach good standards in relation to their ability
• Their attainment is above the national average for schools with a similar ability range.
• They reach good standards in their personal development.
• The very good support and guidance offered to all pupils and the positive response of pupils create a school in which success, tolerance and harmony are key features.
• The school has few weak features.
