Our belief is that children develop best in an atmosphere that takes account of their individual needs and potential. In this way, a secure educational foundation can be laid for future growth.
Pupils are taught in small classes and our teaching approach is a fusion of the best features of modern and traditional methods. The curriculum includes all national curriculum subjects as well as French which is introduced to pupils in Foundation. Special provision is made for Gifted and Talented pupils. Scholarships are available for entry into Year 3.
Regular, detailed reports keep parents fully informed and consultation evenings provide the opportunity for parents to discuss their child's work with the class teachers.
The school offers after-school supervision from 3.30pm to 6.00pm in a relaxed, caring environment where pupils may complete their homework and engage in leisure pursuits. Parents may use this facility on a regular basis or at short notice depending on need. After-school care is subject to an hourly charge.
